Rediscover inspiration

Live a Light-hearted Life

Wednesdays at the Temple, 7-8:30pm

Sometimes it feels that we have no direction in our lives; everything seems so heavy and complicated – not the life we imagined. Buddha teaches however, that our life has almost limitless potential.

By learning to appreciate the special opportunity we have, we will find the inspired life we long for – a life that makes a difference to others and to the world. Through calming our restless discontented mind and training in constructive and flexible attitudes, we can live a light-hearted and inspired life no matter what arises.

A Buddhist Poem for Today

with Gen-la Dekyong

Tuesday Mornings at the Temple, 7:30-9am

This famous and universally loved poem by the great Indian Buddhist master, Shantideva has a profoundly liberating effect on the mind. It teaches how to enjoy a life of great meaning and altruism. In this special short course, Gen-La Dekyong will share with us how this beautiful poem conveys the entire Mahayana Buddhist path to enlightenment and trains our mind through keeping special meanings in our heart.
