Resident Teacher
The Resident Teacher at KMC California is Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong. She has been practicing Buddhism and studying closely under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years and provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Kadampa practitioner for us to follow. She is also the NKT elected Deputy Spiritual Director and the U.S. National Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU. She teaches study programs and gives regular courses and empowerments at KMC CA. She also teaches at Celebrations around the US.
Under her guidance we are able to transform our lives by bringing Buddha’s wisdom and compassion deep into our hearts.
